Applied Component Technology (ACT) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician, working at our plant in Wrexham, North Wales. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will support the daily activities of the quality department as well as ensuring that key areas of the business continue to comply with internal and external requirements. You will have experience with IATF16949:2016 (or TS16949), ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 and will preferably be trained to conduct internal audits according to these standards. The main duties / responsibilities are:

  • to manage the daily documentation review and production of reports to support company KPI
  • co-ordinate with manufacturing on quality support as required for existing products
  • co-ordinate the internal audit program
  • co-ordinate the company document control process
  • conduct internal audits according to our current accreditations

This is predominantly an internal facing role, however, some flexibility may be required to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and supplier compliance is assured through meetings or travel.
